In a significant move that reshapes the skyline and economic landscape of the Rama 4 – Silom district, Vimarn Suriya Company Limited has announced a series of major milestones for Dusit Central Park. The world-class mixed-use development, valued at 46,000 million baht, has not only transformed the area into a “Super Core CBD” but has also set new benchmarks for luxury and sustainability in ASEAN.
Under the vision “Here for Bangkok,” the project has reported outstanding progress across all its components, headlined by the remarkable commercial success of The Residences at Dusit Central Park, which has secured over 95% in sales.
A New Benchmark in Ultra-Luxury Living
The Residences at Dusit Central Park has emerged as a standout performer in Thailand’s real estate sector. La-ead Kovavisaruch, CEO of Vimarn Suriya Company Limited, revealed that sales have exceeded 95%, representing a total value of approximately 17,000 million baht.
Standing at 299 metres, the residential tower is set to rank among the five tallest buildings in Thailand upon completion. Beyond its height, the development is pioneering sustainability standards as the first project in ASEAN to achieve LEED Gold v4.1 for Residential Multi-Family. This certification underscores a commitment to well-being across multiple dimensions, including air quality, cleanliness, and privacy.
“The next crucial component that represents our success and pride is The Residences at Dusit Central Park,” stated Ms. La-ead. She highlighted the project’s signature “Graciously Dusit Hospitality” and the creation of an “Effortless, One Seamless Experience” for residents, supported by collaboration with leading furniture and luxury interior design specialists.
Hospitality and Commercial Excellence
The mixed-use development has seen robust success following the opening of the Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel in September 2024. The hotel has consistently met targets for room bookings and banquet utilisation while garnering prestigious international accolades. Notable awards include the One Michelin Key 2025, recognition in the Travel & Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025, and Best New Hotel in Asia Pacific at the Tatler Best Awards 2025.
Complementing the hospitality sector is Central Park, a retail space offering a curated mix of food, fashion, and lifestyle brands, alongside Central Park Offices. The latter is a Class A office community designed for physical and mental well-being, currently targeting LEED Gold, WELL Platinum, and WiredScore Platinum certifications to ensure a sustainable working environment.
Suan Dusit Arun: The Green Lung of the CBD
A defining feature of the project is Suan Dusit Arun, Thailand’s largest urban roof park, spanning 7 rai (11,200 square metres). Designed under Universal Design and Inclusive Design For All principles, the park serves as a new landmark of happiness for the city.
The park incorporates 100% authentic Thai flora, including rare botanical specimens, and utilizes Biophilic Design principles to foster a deep connection between visitors and nature. La-ead noted that the park has already welcomed an overwhelming number of Thai and international visitors, fulfilling the management’s vision of enhancing urban quality of life.
Illuminating the Future: Legacy in Light
To celebrate these achievements and honor the approaching year-end, Dusit Central Park is preparing to unveil an immersive experience titled “Legacy in Light: When the Legend Illuminates the Future.”
Taking place from 3 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 at Dusit Arun Park, the event will transform the green space into a landscape illuminated by hundreds of thousands of lights. The event is held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Highlights of the event include:
- Musical Performances: Featuring renowned artists such as Tor Saksit, Am Saowalak, Mai Charoenpura, Kit The Voice, Rose Sirintip, and the Silpakorn University Orchestra.
- Charitable Giving: All proceeds, without any deductions, will be donated to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society.
- Cultural Tribute: A large screen at the Dusitpini Amphitheatre will present the royal duties of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
This event, which also serves to bid farewell to the Year of the Snake, reinforces the project’s status as a landmark of Thai pride and a central hub for the community.
