AIS is executing its “3S” and “3 Connections” strategy to bolster Thai SMEs, formally moving from an intelligent telecom provider to a Regional Market Connector. The company is hosting the “Innov8Sparks Regional Workshop 2025,” themed “Infinite Opportunity Beyond Frontier,” in collaboration with the Singtel Group to facilitate the regional expansion of Thai tech SMEs and startups.
The initiative, part of AIS’s Infinite SMEs mission, aims to strengthen local enterprises by addressing key expansion challenges, particularly market access, through a powerful regional network.
Leveraging Global Partnership: 780 Million Subscribers Strong
For the Innov8Sparks workshop, AIS is leveraging the strength of the Singtel Group, which boasts a network covering over 780 million mobile subscriptions worldwide. The event includes key investment arms from the group:
- Singtel Innov8 Ventures (Global investments)
- Telkomsel Ventures
- Globe-Kickstart Ventures
This collaboration is designed to create a borderless platform, allowing Thai entrepreneurs to directly showcase their capabilities, present their solutions, and connect with major regional investors and corporate leaders.
Driving the ‘3 Connections’ Strategy: Market Access is Key

Dr.Srihathai Prammanee, AIS Infinite SMEs Manager, highlighted the strategic imperative behind the event.
“According to data from NESDC… more than 90% of Thai businesses are interested in expanding overseas, yet they face numerous challenges—market access among the most significant,” said Dr.Srihathai.
She explained that AIS is pushing the Infinite SMEs mission through its ‘3 Connections’ strategy: connect markets – connect technology – connect partners.
“For this event, we are doubling down on connecting markets—serving as a bridge for Thai entrepreneurs from the domestic stage to the regional arena. We view this as a timely and highly valuable opportunity,” she added.
Fostering a Co-Growth Ecosystem: From SMEs to Hackathon Winners
The Innov8Sparks Regional Workshop 2025 served as a landmark gathering of senior executives from the telecommunications partner network, united in building a co-growth ecosystem.
The event featured a diverse group of Thai entrepreneurs:
- Established SMEs leveraging AIS’s intelligent network (e.g., Buzzebee and Ztrus).
- Newly established SMEs.
- Young innovators and winners from the JUMPTHAILAND Hackathon 2024 and 2025.
These participants presented their solutions and engaged in workshops with regional corporate leaders, fostering network-building and the exchange of perspectives. The workshop underscores AIS’s vision as a Hub of Regional Opportunities, opening sustainable pathways for Thai SMEs to expand internationally and contribute to Thailand’s digital economy.
